Everything we sell is covered by the standard manufacturer's warranty. This page describes the warranties of the most popular brands we sell. Both WD and Segate drives are covered by a limited warranty - not specifically mentioned on the manufacturer's website, but can be confirmed by the manufacturers. This is a very brief document with a general overview of the warranty. It is designed to provide quick information on important warranty aspects such as the limitation of the warranty, the duration of the warranty, and the time required for repair. QNAP WARRANTY

All the Qnap NAS products we sell are covered by Limited warranties, as specified by Qnap.

  • DataCare offers Next Business Day replacement at a cost which is estimated case to case.

WD WARRANTY

All the Western Digital Drives we sell (WD and UltraStar) are covered by Limited warranties, as specified by Western Digital. Limited Warranties mean that you get a full replacement in the first year, but a declined value in the subsequent years.

Hard drive warranties only cover the Hardware, data recovery is not included in warranty.

1. No limited warranty is provided by WD unless your WD Product ("Product") was purchased from an authorized distributor or authorized reseller.

2. If your Product was purchased as a component integrated within a system by a system manufacturer, no limited warranty is provided by WD.

3. The term of your limited warranty period shall commence on the purchase date appearing on your purchase receipt from an authorized distributor or authorized reseller and extends only for the period of time set forth in the Product documentation.


Seagate WARRANTY

Only Hardware replacement is covered under warranty and the data recovery is not included in warranties. You can buy Seagate Rescue services ( for Data Recovery) at a nominal cost at the time of hard drive purchase


Synology WARRANTY


All the Synology NAS products we sell are covered by Limited warranties, as specified by the Vendor - Synology.
